holly and the play house

Too cute

Lindsey has been outside playing all day in her play house, she wouldn't even come in to eat lunch. I kept going and asking her if she wanted to come in and eat, finally I just moved her picnic table over in front of her house and brought her a sandwich. She was hungry after all. As soon as she was done she got up and went back into her house

Charlotte was crawling around chasing this sponge and when she finally caught it she sat up and was caught!

Christmas Fun

We had a wonderful Christmas this year, the girls had tons of fun which of course makes it fun for Mom and Dad. We all got to open one present last night, the girls got new pj's from mom and dad and they got mom and dad new slippers. Holly was so funny she really wanted the slippers for herself.
The girls stayed at Grandy and Grumpa's house because that is where Santa came to visit. The only thing Lindsey wanted from Santa was keys. The only other thing we could think of that she would like was a door so Grandy Grumpa Mom and Dad worked together to get Lindsey her very own door (with a playhouse attached). She has been outside playing all morning and won't come inside. When Grandy made her come in to go potty she thrrew quite the temper tantrum. I don't enjoy when she throws temper tantrums but today is was great, it meant we succeeded in getting her a gift she loves! She also got a fun new tea set that makes noise from her Grandma and Grandpa Rasband which she has already used to have tea with daddy! I don't think she's ever been happier!
Holly was so much fun this morning, Santa got her makeup for her stocking and that alone was good enough to make her day. After forcing her to open her presents she was extremely happy. She got three tutu's (or dance dances as she calls them) new boot that look like moms, Barbies and a drawing pad from Grandma and Grandpa, and a Doll house bigger than she is from Grandy and Grumpa! She's also very happy to play with her sisters toys too. I haven't taken her out to the play house just yet because I want her sister to get to enjoy that by herself right now.
Charlotte's first Christmas has been fun. She just doesn't know what to think. She got a new kitty that she loves a ride on horse from Grandy and Grumpa and a movie and some toys from Grandma and Grandpa.

Holly and the Catapillar

Holly is really enjoying the new things that the country has to offer. She loves the animals and loves all the freedom that living out here has offered. Today I actually lost her, she was in the backyard playing with the dogs and I went out to check on her and she was gone! I looked all over the back yard and in the drive way and I could hear her calling for mom. She had followed the dogs through the pasture and was all the way up at the front of the pasture by the road stuck in the barbwire fence! It was a little scary but I was thankful the fence stopped her The other day, she found a caterpillar and aunt Maebeth helped her bring it in a put it in a jar!

Our trip home!

We got to go back to mom and dads this weekend. We took a few more things and took our car to leave down there. It was a really fun weekend. Saturday Maebeth and I got ready to have a get together with some members from the branch while Kyle and Richard cooked hot dogs and hamburgers. Then we had both Williams families and Roger and Marie over to eat and play. The kids got to go swimming in the tank and we ended up staying up until Midnight playing triply! Then Sunday we got to go to the ranch with Mom and Dad. Holly loves the ranch, she loves mooing at all the cows as long as someone is holding her or they are at a good distance. They are still a little too big not to be scary up close. She was standing in the back of Grumpa's truck on Sunday and one of the cows came up to see if she had any food and it kind of freaked her out! Then Monday Kyle and I got to go help Dad and Vicky work cows. We were suppose to leave after that but dad was going to look at horses so we stayed a little longer so I could go with him. Brother Moon from Pecos had some horses up for dad to look at and he got a little 3 yr old black and white paint filly who is bred. She's suppose to have a baby in Febuary! She's really pretty and smart, and she's bred to a black and white paint stud, so most likly mom will be getting a paint baby too! I'm super excited. Then we got to go watch Nolan and Calebs baseball game! When it was time to leave Lindsey threw a gaint fit because she didn't want to leave Grandy. I'm glad she won't have to much longer. I'm excited to live close to mom and Maebeth, now I will have lived close to all of my sisters! I'm pretty lucky! If I could only pull Fort Worth a little closer to Monahans I wouldn't have to leave Lindsey and Leanne, I sure am going to miss them!

B is for Brailler!

Yesterday Lindsey got her brailler! She has started learning some braille and all the different parts of her brailler! She knows a, b and l for sure and she loves her space bar. She got to play with it today and she kept typing b saying "b is for boy". I'm so excited to have it! Plus she got a really neat set of books about Perkins Panda. It came with a Perkins panda bear and a picnic set to go with one of the stories. It's all about Perkins Panda and his two friends that are blind. There are three books in the set, Doing doing doing, Belly Button, and Perkins goes out! Each one comes with a tape of the book, the book, and and activity book so we have ideas to do things like in the books, and she now has her own little tape player to listen to her books in the car, if we could only get her to wear head phones! Oh well little by little!
