Quality Time!

Holly wants to play playstation with dad so bad that he usually ends up hurting her feelings when he tells her "No". So tonight he figured out a way to spend a little quality time with his little girl. He plays Madden and she plays with the extra remote. Makes two happy people!

Katie and Holly

Katie got to come over last night for a sleep over. We are not really sure who she comes to sleep over with? She spent the whole night and day playing with Holly who was in absolute heaven and at night sleeps with Lindsey. But the girls had a blast, Katie dressed Holly up and I think was most happy that she didn't have to fight with Jack for Holly's attention! We rarely saw them (which is soooo nice for Kyle and me)!

My big girl!

Today Lindsey was sitting so quietly in Primary when all of the sudden I hear her start crying and yelling "I don't wanna, I don't wanna!" I turned around to see what was wrong (she sits right behind me) and there was no change, no one was bothering her or anything. So I waited a minute more for the closing prayer and I heard her crying again, but when I turned around this time she was pulling at her tights. So I grabbed her up and ran her to the bathroom. She was trying so hard to be a big girl and not have an accident in her pretty Christmas dress, but her tights were just not helping the matter!

Home for the Holidays!

Lindsey's home from school for the holidays now. She had her Christmas party yesterday and Holly and mom went and had lots of fun! They decorated Christmas bags and cookies and did a book exchange. Today was her last day for the year and she got to bring a little school home with her. Her teachers sent her cane home so she could keep working on walking! Mom and Dad are really excited but Lindsey, not so much! She's doing really great though we can't believe the progress!

My little "clapper"

Holly has become very fond of her dress shoes. They aren't normal baby dress shoes because they have heals on it and they clip clap on the tiles. She brings them to me to put on so she can dance on the tile floor and make her clip clap sound. Today she could only find one so she brought it to me and then danced in a circle because she only wanted to stomp the one foot!

daddy's girls!

He may be out numbered and loosing ground shortly with a third little girl on the way but he will never go unloved!

OH MY HOLLY!

So since our fridge has been on the fritz we've had all of our cold stuff in a cooler in the kitchen. Well, to our great pleasure Holly has discovered she can open and close the cooler! We occasionally find her walking around sucking on ice. Well, today apparently she got hungry (she's always hungry) and decided she'd get her own food. I found her in our room eating a stick of butter! I don't know what I'm gonna do with her!

Holly hat's and slippers

Holly's a big fan of her new slippers. We can't even get them off to take her to bed, and of course she loves daddy's hat's. He has to be careful about leaving them laying around now because if she finds them, she wears them! She really enjoys using them for pee-a-boo!

Holly and the rocking horse!

When we came back from Grandy's and Grumpa's house this thanksgiving we brought home a great treat! Mommies old rocking horse! It's been at Grandy and Grumpas house since she was a little girl and has rocked my mommy, my aunt Lindsey, and all of my cousins! Now it's come home with us to rock me and Charlotte when she gets here!

Holly, Dot, and Cow

Holly loves Dot and Cow so much. Getting her to bed is like a round up! We must go through the whole house to locate Dot and Cow! In the mornings when we get her out of bed Dot and Cow must be rescued also or she will stand at the edge of her crib and try to liberate them through the bars of her crib! This morning she even decided to share her breakfast with them! She loves her Dot and Cow!

Holly is a funny girl~

So I thought I'd just explain some of these pictures of Holly because she's a funny girl~ So the one of her in the hat with the Dr Pepper case... Well, she's discovered she likes wearing her daddies hats so she went and put on his OU hat and was carrying/pushing this empty Dr Pepper case around the house (I don't know why??). Her daddy said it was a good profession for her to take up if she was gonna insist on wearing the Oklahoma hat!
The one with the pumpkin, she just won't stop carrying the pumpkin around, she's made it into her own little purse. She's got all of her stuff in it (or daddies note cards, he's a little frustrated) and her dollar from Grandy and Grumpa. On occasion she'll bring us a note card like it's the greatest gift in the world! Funny girl!
Lindsey in the hat and socks. For Drug awareness week they had different themes everyday, and this day was crazy socks and hat day!

Kyle's amazing

Kyle is doing so great in school he just got a 99 on his last A&P test. His professor handed his test back and said "Well, you've just become a regular show off haven't you!"

Trunk or Treat

The girls got to go Trunk or Treating at the church on Saturday! It wasn't the most wonderful experience, Holly wasn't feeling very good, and Lindsey really didn't want to walk. Holly was a pink poodle and absolutely adorable when she stopped crying long enough to eat candy. Lindsey was a cowgirl riding a horse and screamed from trunk to trunk "NO, I DON'T WANT TO!" and as soon as we got to a trunk I would tell her to say trick or treat for candy and she would say "Trick or Treat" and then we started the screaming all over.

Lindsey's weekend

Well, Lindsey had a lot of fun last weekend. She got to go play with a lot of toys provided by the Dallas ISD schools for all the blind children at the Sports Extravagansa. She didn't get to make her race though so we were really sad about that. There's always next year though. She did get to do her part for the Primary program and did a great job. She said "I know Jesus loves me because I can hear BEAUTIFUL music" and banged on the microphone at the same time.

Kisha

Well, my exciting news, I'm pregnant again! This will be our third and final little Rasband. We don't know what we are having yet, but we will find out soon! I'm due on March 1st the day before my birthday. We are both super excited, and a little over whelmed! We've decided that this one was God's little joke for us (it was a rather large sup rise). LOL I guess he's determined to keep us laughing! We have decided we don't care if it's a girl or boy. We love our girls so much how could we not want another, but then again we don't have a boy to know what we're missing! We'll be happy either way!
I've also started back to school, and am working on my Bachelor in Nursing at UTA. I don't have it quite as bad as Kyle. I'm only taking A&P, Chem, and English II. I just took my first two test and got an 89 in Chem, and pulled off a C in A&P which I was thrilled about! (I could have sworn I made a 20)

My love!

Kyle has just started back to school and is working toward either a nursing or radiological tech degree. I'm so proud of how well he is doing in his classes. He has a tough schedule with Anatomy and Physiology, English comp I, Algebra, and Biological Chemistry. He just took his first round of test and made an 89 in chem, a 97 in A&P, and a 92 in Algebra! He was so excited I didn't think he was ever going to come down from his high (and then he went back to school). Other exciting news, we are going to the BYU vs TCU football game in two weeks! GO COUGARS!

Our sweet little Holly

Well, what do you say about Holly? She is such a sweet girl. She loves going with her dad everywhere. She has now gotten to the point that if he grabs his keys she runs to the door to make sure he doesn't leave her. We've tried to distract her a couple of times but the girl is good and she knows what she wants! There is no tricking that one! She's such a good sister too. She loves Lindsey and wants her to play with her so bad! She's gotten really good about giving Lindsey her space though and only crosses the line when it come to Lindsey's hair. It's just to pretty to leave alone. We just started going to toddler time at the MAC this past week. They have a bounce house, tons of balls (Holly's favorite), a little trampoline, and and giant building blocks for you to build with or climb on. There are a lot of kids that go and Holly loves it. She spent most of her first day kicking soccer balls and chasing them all over the gym. The girls is gonna be a soccer player! She also loves climbing on the blocks and watching the other kids play.

Lindsey's exciting weekend

In two weeks Lindsey is going to have a very busy weekend! On Sat the 18th Lindsey will be participating in the Sports extravaganza for the handicapped. She will be "running" (we use this word loosely) in the 25 meter dash! They use a rope the length of the track and it has a tube that will run down it, for her to hold so she knows where she's going. This will be her first year to participate and we are so excited for her. Then on Sunday the 19th, she will be doing her primary program! She has a part this year and already has it memorized! She's already got to be the primary star and tell everybody three things she likes and she LOVED talking into the microphone so we think she will do well!
We are so excited for our little Lindsey, she's doing great in school with walking, talking, and potty training!
